P.O.D.'s Latest Album Passes One Million Mark In Worldwide Sales

P.O.D.'s latest CD, "Payable On Death", has passed the one-million mark in worldwide sales, according to a posting on the group's web site.

" 'Payable On Death' was released against all odds," the band write. "Upon its release, P.O.D.'s record company (Atlantic Records, a division of Warner Music) was sold to a private investor. Several thousand people, many of whom were close to P.O.D., lost their jobs. This, on top of the music industry trying to figure out digital music, created a nearly impossible environment for 'Payable On Death'. Thankfully, our Warrior family stood strong... you have been there from the beginning and many more continue to join this vision. You have trusted us with so much and we are forever grateful. Our hearts and lives are in service to you."
